Our main service begins at 10:15 am every Sunday. We regularly have sixty to seventy people attending, with a further five to ten people joining via Zoom online. They are of all ages. We have children’s groups each Sunday morning.
Our Sunday morning services are vibrant and Spirit-guided, offering an atmosphere that is informal, but reverent. Services are led by a Leader. For the first 20 minutes, we gather as a whole congregation before our young people (‘Adventurers’ (ages 0-4) and ‘Explorers’ (ages 5-10)) move to their own groups. A Speaker then delivers a message from the Bible. Throughout the service, as the Leader feels appropriate, there will be time for prayer and reflection. There is a large element of musical worship within the service, and there is a nice balance of modern worship songs with the occasional traditional. After the formal part of the service we enjoy fellowship together with tea, coffee biscuits, and sometimes cake!
We share communion together, usually on the third Sunday of each month.
The church has disabled access via a ramp or lift, with toilet facilities and baby changing areas on both floors, and a hearing loop installed.
There is no offertory taken during the service as most people give by bank transfer; however, there is a box at the rear of the church should you wish to give an offering. We have printed weekly notices of events coming soon, which are available in the church foyer or by subscribing online.
You can also join our services on Zoom, and a recording of the speaker’s message is available on YouTube after the service.
We usually have a reflective evening Soak Service on the second Sunday in the month and a Sunday evening prayer meeting on the fourth Sunday in the month. We have other activities taking place during the week – see Regular Events.
